My brother is completely obsessed with Oreo cookies...so when his birthday came around I wanted to find a cool recipe that incorporated them. Last year I made oreo truffles, but this year I decided to go with something I hadn't tried yet. I found a great recipe for Oreo Chunk Cupcakes. I can add the recipe later, once i relocate it! Muahah. Essentially, consisted of rough chunks of Oreo throughout the cupcake, with half of one resting at the very bottom. Then they were frosted with vanilla buttercream frosting and sprinkled with Oreo cookie crumbles. (Some of them were also garnished with half an Oreo on top). The end result was a very rich and sweet cupcake; needless to say delicious. My brother enjoyed the very distinct Oreo taste, and others enjoyed the taste as well as texture of the moist yet chunky cupcakes!
